Cookie Policy

Cookies are small files a website stores on your device to remember information between visits. We keep our use of them to two simple categories.

These keep the site working, by remembering your cookie preference itself, and basic security. They're set automatically and can't be switched off, because the site won't function properly without them.

If you use the DIY Umrah Planner, your browser also keeps your ticks and final checks in local storage, so the planner remembers your progress when you come back. This stays on your device, is not sent to us, and you can clear it by clearing your browser's site data.

With your consent, we load booking widgets and links from our travel partners: GetYourGuide (experiences and activities) and Travelpayouts network providers (transfers, car hire, eSIMs, flights and more). These set cookies so that if you book through one of their widgets or links, the booking is correctly attributed back to us. The same consent also lets Travelpayouts Drive add further partner links and recommendations to our pages. Without this consent, those widgets won't load, and you can still enquire with us directly on WhatsApp instead.

The same consent switches on Google Analytics, which sets cookies whose names start with _ga so we can count visits and see which pages and links are used, and Vercel Web Analytics, which counts page views without cookies. If you later turn optional cookies off, we stop sending analytics and remove the Google Analytics cookies from your browser.

Some pages let you leave a voluntary tip to support our work. Nothing from Stripe, our payment provider, loads until you choose a tip amount. Once you do, Stripe sets its own cookies to process the payment securely and prevent fraud.
